Cobie Smulders’ father is a Dutch and his mother is of British ancestry. During her childhood, Cobie dreamed to be a doctor or a marine biologist. During her high school years, Cobie developed an interest in acting and started appearing in several school productions. She can speak French fluently. She currently resides in Los Angeles, California.

In 2000, Cobie finished high school in at Lord Byng Secondary School with high honors. She was also voted the “Most Respected”. During her teenage, a modeling agency discovered her, and it gave a quick start to her modeling career.
